Evening with the Stars brings another full house to Renaissance Center

Poets and musicians performed at the Second Annual Evening with the Stars — poets from the smooth rhythms of Jennifer Jones to the bombastic visual presentation of Ron Ellis.

Margot Peters and John Lehman shared their poetry.

Musical groups including United We Sing lent harmony and variety to the evening. Also performing were Penguin Productions' singers, and Louise Austin, who was a hit with her rendition of the 1940's Betty Hutton hit, "Orange-colored Sky."
